Goldenvoice hasn't posted the 2027 Coachella lineup yet, but the tour calendars already tell most of the story. Tame Impala, Dua Lipa and SZA all have the kind of open April that headliners keep for Indio. Several of the prediction-market favorites, including Olivia Rodrigo and Radiohead, have booked themselves out of it.

The festival runs April 9–11 and 16–18 at the Empire Polo Club. Artists who play Coachella almost always share the same tell: few or no dates before April, especially on the West Coast, and an unexplained hole in their schedule during the two festival weekends. Radius clauses keep Coachella acts out of Southern California for months around the festival, so a tour that skips the West Coast in spring, or opens in SoCal the moment the window lifts, is worth a second look.

Decibel checked every major 2027 routing announced as of Oct. 28 against those weekends. HITS Daily Double has reported that Tame Impala and Dua Lipa are in talks, with Goldenvoice still hunting for a third headliner. The calendars largely back that up.

The headliners hiding in plain sight

Tame Impala has the cleanest gap on the board. Kevin Parker wrapped the North American leg of the Deadbeat tour this fall, and the next announced dates don't start until May 28 at Manchester's Co-op Live, followed by a UK and European run through June. That leaves January through late May empty, with no U.S. shows at all. Tame Impala last headlined Coachella in 2019.
