A newly filed disclosure in the Justice Department’s antitrust case against Live Nation Entertainment and Ticketmaster offers the clearest look yet at the political and behind-the-scenes lobbying effort that preceded the company’s proposed settlement with federal regulators.

In a filing submitted Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Live Nation disclosed extensive communications with the Department of Justice, senior administration officials, and the White House stretching from February 2025 through June 2026. The filing was made pursuant to the Antitrust Procedures and Penalties Act, better known as the Tunney Act, which requires parties in antitrust settlements to disclose communications with government officials related to proposed consent decrees.
